When a student misses a day of school - they iss so much more than just "school work".
Statistics show that missing 2 days within the first 20 days, often predicts a pattern of chronic absenteeism.
If a child misses 2 days per month... in one school they would have missed 120 school hours. If this pattern continues, by the end of 5th Grade that is a total of 720 instructional hours missed. That is 120 days total.
