What Is Roaring Readers
Roaring Readers program is a joyful celebration of literacy, creativity, and student expression. Throughout the year, each grade level prepares a special performance to share at a Roaring Readers event. Students bring stories to life through reading, dramatic interpretation, music, movement, and visual arts.
By combining literacy with the performing and visual arts, Roaring Readers allows students to express their understanding of stories in engaging and imaginative ways. Families and community members are invited to join us as each grade level takes the stage to celebrate the power of storytelling and the joy of reading.
Roaring Readers highlights the many ways literacy can inspire creativity and brings our school community together to celebrate literacy and the arts.
