Oh the books we will READ and the FUN THINGS we will do! We are celebrating Read Across America Day and we hope you will TOO! From here to there, from there to here, fun things will be everywhere! We will be celebrating this special day on Friday, March 1, 2019.

Read Across America Day is celebrated annually in March, in honor of Dr. Seuss's Birthday. Dr. Seuss was born Theador Seuss Geisel on March 2, 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Seuss wrote and illustrated 44 children's books in his lifetime. He was the winner of 3 Academy Awards and The Pulitzer Prize in 1984. Through the decades Dr. Seuss continues to be the best-selling author of children’s books in the WORLD!

On March 1st, 2019 we will have special guest readers read to students. We have invited many special readers for this event, such as District personnel and other special guests.
